Umholtz Judo has always been a non-affiliated Philadelphia Judo and Mixed Martial Arts school. Unlike other schools you'll find in Philadelphia, Umholtz Judo does not make you sign any contracts, attach your bank account, or make you pay a year in advance. We also do not make you pay for any rank testing or merchandise. For this reason we are able to provide the most reasonable training rates in the Philadelphia area without sacrificing any quality.

Although we are open to the public, we only accept new students after an appointment and screening process has been made. We do this to insure a spacious, safe, professional training environment and to focus on individual attention for our members. These things make Umholtz Judo perhaps one of Philadelphia's best-kept secrets.

Umholtz Judo has also provided Judo and Mixed Martial Arts group lessons, seminars, and private instruction for over two decades. Some of our satisfied clients include colleges, law enforcement, Martial Arts Schools, fitness centers, personal protection, security personnel, and common everyday people who wish to hone their mind, body, and spirit thru the art of Umholtz Judo.
